Bta. 2009 will reserve a place during the event for the transfer of innovation and technology for exhibitors, in which technology centres will play a key role. This will also include subjects of interest such as the potential of robotics for the sector or the latest trends in packing and packaging.
The 5th European Food Technology Platform Meeting will also be held. European technology platforms are a result of the initiative of the European Commission. They serve as a tool for improving European competitiveness by stimulating research, technological development and innovation. In addition, they coordinate public and private investment, as well as other community and national policies with the aim of concentrating efforts, reducing fragmentation and contributing to the European Research Space.
