Exports and the transfer of technology for innovation at companies working in machinery and technology for the food and beverage industry is one of the most important issues for the growth of the sector.

Specific promotional activities aimed at improving positioning and competitiveness are shaping up to be part of a key strategy for stimulating the development of the new economy. To this end, Bta. 2009 will deploy all its resources to bring the show’s exhibitor companies closer to international buyers though the Business Conference, whose goal is to set the scene for business meetings between these agents.

As a result, during the exhibition, Bta. 2009, in collaboration with AMEC (Spanish acronym for the Multi-sector Business Association), will become a true business centre. It will support commercial exchanges between participants, meetings which will be arranged through a meeting scheduling system. Buyers from Egypt, Hungary, Syria, Czech Republic, Russia, Rumania, Israel, the Ukraine, India and China will meet there.

BROKERAGE EVENT

The Food Brokerage Events for Technological Cooperation are aimed at companies and technological centres from such sectors as food and agriculture, meat and intermediate product groups, as well as the whole range of packaging sectors. In this Edition will participate exhibitors of Hispack & Bta., together with visitors, technological centres and universities from the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Turkey, Armenia, UAE, Chile and Egypt.
